The Victoria Police Department is actively trying to find Steven Hagen, a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for suspension of statutory release.

Patrol officers and the Behavioural Management and Assessment Unit (BAMU) are looking for the federal offender, who is serving a two-year, one-month and 6-day sentence for multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The 25-year-old failed to abide by the conditions of his statutory release and is now sought on a Canada-wide warrant, says VicPD.

Steven Hagen is standing at 5’7″, and weighs 140 pounds. He has short brown hair and hazel eyes.

The federal offender is known to frequent Downtown Victoria and was last seen in the 700-block of Queens Avenue on Wednesday, January 27.
