
Two Sooke residents were arrested after an investigation by Sooke RCMP led to the seizure of multiple drugs and weapons on Friday, May 21.
Sooke RCMP seized an amount of suspected heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), benzodiazepine (“Benzos”) and other drug trafficking-related items, according to police.
A number of weapons were also seized including a hatchet, brass knuckles, a knife, a defensive baton and a machete, according to police.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and they are trying to identify other suspects in connection with the case.
