A recent traffic stop in Sooke resulted in RCMP officers seizing weapons and drugs from a vehicle.
At around 11:25 p.m. on Jan. 6, Sooke RCMP officers stopped a vehicle in East Sooke and discovered a firearm, two replica firearms, and an undisclosed amount of drugs inside, according to a media release.
Officers seized the items as well as the vehicle’s license plates because the vehicle was uninsured at the time, say RCMP.
Meanwhile, two men and two women were taken into custody.
Sooke RCMP say they are still investigating and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 250-642-5241.
