A stretch of Store Street in downtown Victoria is now shuttered to vehicle traffic for more than one month due to ongoing construction at a development in the area.
Store Street between Fisgard Street and Pandora Avenue closed to traffic for six weeks starting Monday, Sept. 26, according to the City of Victoria in a traffic advisory reminder.
While pedestrians can still access the stretch of road, the city is asking drivers to use alternative routes. It notes that resident access to the Janion, the apartment building between Store Street and the Inner Harbour, is via Pandora Avenue.
