
Students and staff at a middle school in Greater Victoria are being warned of possible exposure to COVID-19.
Glanford Middle School, located in Saanich, recently experienced COVID-19 exposure events, according to the Greater Victoria School District.
The potential exposure dates are Feb. 8, 9, 10, 11 and 17.
“Island Health is conducting contact tracing. If a person may have been exposed, Island Health will contact them directly,” the school district said in a post on social media Saturday night.
Island Health has not added the school to its COVID-19 exposure list as of 8:20 p.m. Saturday.
Glanford Middle School is located on Glanford Avenue. It is among a handful of schools on Vancouver Island that have experienced COVID-19 exposure events in recent days. Two schools in the Comox Valley were added to Island Health’s COVID-19 exposure list on Saturday while a school in Campbell River also reported an exposure event on Thursday.
