Victoria police say a male arrested for an indecent act will be in court Friday and they are looking to see if similar complaints are related.

Authorities say the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 9 when officers were called to Bridge Way in Beacon Hill Park, in the area of the rock bridge over Goodacre Lake.

A woman reported a male walking his bike had approached her while she was sitting down.

The suspect sat next to her and police say he began to ask questions she felt were inappropriate, then exposed himself to her.

VicPD says the man, who is known to police, was arrested Thursday and charges being recommended include one count of an indecent act and two counts of failing to comply with probation.

An investigation is ongoing to determine if other reported indecent acts are related.

Last week, police responded to reports of a man exposing himself twice on the Galloping Goose Trail.

Police said the suspect of the Aug. 9 incident at Beacon Hill Park matched the description of the suspect in the Galloping Goose indecent acts.

Investigators are also looking into another case early Sunday morning when a woman reported she woke up in Beacon Hill Park to find an unknown male touching her sometime between 2:20 a.m. and 3:10 a.m.
