Around 1:50 p.m., VicPD said officers were investigating the crash. They said Douglas Street was closed at Yates Street, and that traffic would be disrupted in the area.
“Please choose another route,” said police in a tweet.
“Our (VicPD traffic) officers are on scene and are investigating. One person has been transported to hospital,” added police. “Significant delays will occur in the area.”
A CHEK News reporter on scene captured photos of the intersection cordoned off with police tape. A grey Porsche SUV was photographed behind the tape.
