Missing teen found safe: police

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP says the teen reported missing on July 29 has been found safe.

The North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are seeking help from the public to locate a missing 14-year-old boy who hasn’t been seen for several days.

Mounties say he was last seen on Saturday, July 29, at the intersection of Coronation Avenue and the Trans-Canada Highway in Duncan.

He was reported missing that same day.

“[He] is known to wander North Cowichan/Duncan, but it is unusual for him to be away from home for so long,” said RCMP in a release Wednesday.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call their local police detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). The North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP can be reached at 250-748-5522.
