The popular game show, Jeopardy!, has revealed the next set of guest hosts that will take their turn asking the questions this season following the passing of Alex Trebek.

In an announcement made by Mike Richards, Executive Producer of Jeopardy!, he revealed four names that will step into the hosting spotlight over the next several weeks: Katie Couric, Aaron Rodgers, Bill Whitaker, and Mayim Bialik.

Iconic Journalist and New York Times Best-Selling Author, Katie Couric, is scheduled to be the first-ever female host of the show.

Couric is the Founder of Katie Couric Media (KCM), which collaborates with global brands to create content such as Wake-Up Call daily newsletter, documentaries, digital series and podcasts on important social and cultural issues.

Aaron Rodgers is currently the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. He is a Super Bowl MVP and has been selected to nine NFL Pro Bowl rosters. Outside of being one of the NFL’s premier quarterbacks, Rodgers is also a former Celebrity Jeopardy! champion, after competing on the program in 2015.

Bill Whitaker has been a correspondent for “60 Minutes” since March of 2014 and, in four decades as a journalist, he has covered major news stories domestically and across the globe for CBS News. He is the 2018 winner of the RTDNA’s highest honour, the Paul White Award for career achievement.

Mayim Bialik is an actress, host and neuroscientist known for her role as Amy Farrah Fowler on the comedy, “The Big Bang Theory.” Currently, Bialik is starring in “Call Me Kat” on Fox which she also executive produces.

“Alex was a legend, revered by all of us,” said Richards. “I want to thank our guest hosts, who will not only help all of us celebrate his great legacy, but also bring their own touch to the show.”

Trebek passed away on November 8, 2020 and his last episode aired on January 8.

At the onset of this week, Jeopardy!’s Greatest of All Time and consulting producer Ken Jennings stepped in as the show’s first guest host since Trebek’s passing.

Executive Producer Mike Richards will also serve as host for two weeks of shows once Ken Jennings’ current run of episodes concludes to keep the show on the air while the guest hosts prepare for their appearances.

Additional guest hosts will be announced later in the season.
