Three domestic flights that arrived or departed from Victoria International Airport (YYJ) have been added to the BC Centre for Disease Control’s COVID-19 exposure list.

The British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) is warning passengers who were on three flights, which arrived at YYJ from Calgary in the past week.

Passengers who were on board WestJet flight 3235, which arrived in Victoria on Jan. 2, are being warned of a possible COVID-19 exposure. The affected rows range from 16-19.

WestJet flight 449, arriving in Victoria on Jan. 3, was added to the list, with the affected rows being 16-22.

Lastly, Delta/WestJet flight 6329/227 that arrived in Victoria on Jan. 3 has been added to the exposure list. The affected rows are 10-16.

The warnings come a few days after the BCCDC added a flight that departed Nanaimo to the exposure list as well.

Passengers on a domestic flight with a COVID-19 case should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days and those seated identified are considered to be at a higher risk of exposure due to their proximity to the case, according to the BCCDC.

Coronavirus symptoms include fever, chills, cough or worsening of chronic cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of sense of smell or taste, runny nose, headache and fatigue.
