Victoria police seeking two 'almost identical' suspects who attacked and robbed a pedestrian

Victoria Police are investigating the attack and robbery of a man downtown that took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Victoria police are investigating the attack and robbery of a man downtown that took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.

In a police report issued on Thursday, police said that the incident took place around 2 a.m. on September 27, while the man was walking in the 500-block of Broughton Street.

According to the victim, he was attacked from behind by two men unknown to him. Police said that the victim was rendered unconscious during the attack, contacting police after the incident.

The victim, who was transported to the hospital to be treated following his report, also said that the two men robbed him during the attack.

The victim described the suspects as “looking almost identical.” They were both Caucasian men, aged between 30 to 40 years old, with slim builds. Both were also said to be unshaven, both wore baseball caps and the victim added that they had “raspy voices.”

One of the men was riding a BMX-style bicycle.

Victoria Police are currently investigating further into the attack and robbery.
