
Police are asking for witnesses after a man was stabbed in the 800-block of Johnson Street in Victoria Tuesday.
Victoria police said they were called to a multi-residential building in the 800-block of Johnson Street for a report of a stabbing. Officers found a Victoria man with non-life-threatening injuries at the building.

According to police, the initial investigation indicates that the stabbing occurred in the 800-block of Johnson Street. Police said after the stabbing, the man went to the multi-residential building. He received medical attention before he was taken to hospital. The man has been released.
The man was stabbed, then made his way to the multi-residential building in the 800-block of Johnson Street where he was given first aid, & then transported to hospital w non-life-threatening injuries. Our investigation is ongoing. So far there are no arrests. #F1749239.

Police also said reports that say the stabbing happened within the building are not correct. VicPD are still investigating and no one has been arrested at this time.
