Man sent to hospital after stabbing in downtown Victoria

Police and paramedics respond to a report of a stabbing in the 800-block of Johnson Street.

One man was sent to hospital after a stabbing in downtown Victoria Tuesday evening.

At around 5 p.m., Victoria police responded to a report of a stabbing at a housing facility in the 800-block of Johnson Street. Police said a man has been taken to hospital with what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the stabbing.
