VicPD reissue call for information on two-year anniversary since disappearance

It has been two years since Tyler Desorcy went missing from downtown Victoria, and police are hoping someone will come forward with information to help find him.

Desorcy was last seen two years ago on Dec. 30, 2020 and was reported missing on Jan. 5, 2021.

Victoria Police say it has been investigating his disappearance, but have been unable to find him.

“Our investigation into Tyler’s disappearance is ongoing and we are asking for information from anyone who has not already spoken with investigators,” VicPD said in a news release.

At the time he went missing, Desorcy was 31-years old.

He would now be 33, and he is described as an Indigenous man with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is five feet, nine inches tall with a heavy build and he walks with a noticeable limp.
