Victoria police are asking for public help in locating a man who has been missing since December 2020.

Tyler Desorcy was last seen in the 800-block of Courtney Street in Victoria on December 30, 2020. He has now been on three separate missing person alerts on January 6, 11, and 28, according to police.

Police say Desorcy has a medical condition that requires treatment and the circumstances around when he went missing are considered high risk.

Desorcy is described as a 32-year-old Indigenous man with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He is five feet, nine inches tall with a heavy build and he walks with a noticeable limp.

Police say he was last seen wearing a long black jacket, a green hooded sweater with a design on the front, black sweatpants and dark running shoes.

Police are asking the public to call 911 if Desorcy is seen or to call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1 if any information of his whereabouts is known.
