The Victoria Police Department is looking for the rightful owners for a plethora of keys and electronic fobs, seized during an executed search warrant.

In a police report issued on Tuesday, VicPD says that on Friday, Nov. 27, Community Services Division (CSD) officers executed a search warrant in the 800-block of Johnson Street.

The search warrant – executed at a suite in a multi-unit residential building – was connected to an investigation of the resident.

The woman who lived in the unit has been accused of break and enter theft, according to Victoria Police.

The police report says that while CSD officers were executing the search warrant, they found and recovered a number of keys and electronic key fobs.

Victoria Police believe that the items are believed to be stolen property and are now reaching out to the public in hopes of finding the rightful owners.

VicPD says if anyone recognizes these keys or key fobs, or have information regarding this investigation, they should call the VicPD non-emergency line at 250-995-7654.

Victoria Police add that this investigation currently remains open.
