A man and a woman face a number of charges after drugs and stolen property were discovered in two units in a multi-residential building on the 800-block of Johnson Street

VicPD say the pair, who lived in separate but adjacent units, became the focus of a Community Services Division investigation after receiving information that they were involved in dealing drugs and targeting marginalized people in the community.

A search warrant was obtained and executed on October 18th.

The man and the woman were taken into custody without incident, and police say their suites were searched.

Officers found nearly 30 grams of drugs, weapons including an electrified “cattle prod” baton, brass knuckles and firearm ammunition, as well as IPads, laptops, other electronic equipment, tools, and personal identification.

The two suspects were charged and released with promises to appear at a later date.
