RCMP say they are searching for Travis Jury, a 31-year-old man who is wanted on multiple warrants.

RCMP in the Cowichan Valley are looking for a man who is wanted for a “variety” of violent offences.

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say they are searching for Travis Jury, a 31-year-old  man wanted on multiple outstanding warrants, and are asking the public for assistance in locating him.

According to the detachment, several warrants for Jury were issued in early November that stem from a “variety of violent offences” including robbery, assault, using an imitation firearm, being unlawfully in a dwelling house, and breach of the conditions of his release.

Jury is described as a 5-foot-11 176 pound red hair man with blue eyes and fair skin. He also goes by the nickname Red and has a multi-coloured sleeve tattoo on his right arm that includes an illustration of the Grim Reaper.

RCMP also say Jury has ties to the North Cowichan/Duncan area as well as Port Alberni and Victoria.

Although RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jury, they also say the 31-year-old is considered violent and are urging people not to engage or interact with him.

Anyone who spots Jury or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact 911 immediately.
