Ultimate Frisbee growing in Victoria schools

WATCH: A dozen middle and high school teams gathered at Lansdowne Middle School on Monday for a jamboree of Ultimate Frisbee.

A fast-growing sport, more and more schools across the country are recognizing the core values and benefits of Ultimate Frisbee, and with the UVic Vikes’ Ultimate Frisbee team heading to the states for the NCAA National Championship in just under two weeks, you don’t have to look far for inspiration. Organizers hope the event builds more interest and participation across Greater Victoria and its surrounding municipalities.
