The fourth-annual list of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants released on Tuesday includes two Vancouver Island establishments.
Tofino’s Wolf in the Fog is listed at #85, while Victoria’s Agrius comes in at #93.
The list is described as having been voted on by food critics, leading chefs, legendary restaurateurs, elite diners and food fanatics from across the country and calls itself the definitive compilation of the best restaurants in Canada.
Top spot went to Toronto’s Alo, Montreal’s Toque and Joe Beef placed second and third.
Twenty-two B.C. restaurants made the Top 100 (including 18 in Vancouver) with East Pender Street’s Kissa Tanto the top-ranked at #10. It was named best new restaurant in the country in 2017.

This year also sees the addition of a list of Canada’s 50 best bars.
Victoria’s Little Jumbo was ranked 29th while Big Bad John’s was given an honourable mention.
Toronto’s Bar Raval took top spot.
