Someone recently paid over $2.4 million for a 1,206 square-foot two-bedroom, three-bathroom condo unit on Craig Road.

A waterfront condo just steps from Chesterman Beach in Tofino has sold for a million over asking.

According to the listing agent, who asked not to be named, someone recently paid around $2.4 million for a 1,206 square-foot two-bedroom, three-bathroom condo unit on Craig Road.

The condo, which was built in 1999, had been listed for $1.41 million.

“Your own oceanfront condo with excellent views of crashing waves, birds, and boats going by. Explore the beach for hours of barefoot wandering through tide pools and shallow water,” reads the description for the listing, which has since been deleted.

The realtor called the purchase an “anomaly.”
