

A 17-year-old boy received several tickets after a car was found down an embankment at Clover Point.
Victoria police issued more than $1,000 in fines to a 17-year-old driver after a car was found down an embankment at Clover Point on Saturday night.
Police said officers went to Clover Point at 11 p.m. after a vehicle was seen crashing through a metal barrier and going down an embankment. The two people who were in the car reportedly fled after the crash.

Victoria police were able to identify the driver. According to police, the 17-year-old boy who was driving returned to the scene. He received several tickets, including not having a driver’s licence, failure to remain at the scene of an accident and driving without due care and attention.
The other person who was in the vehicle was also located by police. No injuries were reported.
