Police say the student changed their route to school and used a footpath that vehicles can’t go on. The student spoke with their teacher once they got to school.
The teacher told the school principal about the incident and now the school community is being warned, according to police.
Police say no one was injured and the driver didn’t talk to the student. They say the student made the best decisions for the scenario.
Police are asking members of the public who have information to call the VicPD Report Desk at (250) 995-7654 extension 1.
