A suspect facing charges of attempted murder, assault with a weapon and robbery has been arrested in Port Alberni.
RCMP say Jonathan Patrick Michael Thompson was taken into custody without incident.
The 31-year-old was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
RCMP say Thompson was wanted in connection with an incident that took place on March 13th, 2019, but offered no other details.
In late March, police issued an alert asking the public to be on the lookout for Thompson and warning that he could be in the Port Alberni area.
