A suspect was arrested after a man was stabbed in the 200-block of Gorge Road East last night.
According to VicPD media release, officers responded to a multi-unit residential building in the 200-block of Gorge Road East shortly before 9:30 p.m. Sunday after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed.
Officers located the victim and were then told by the building resident that a resident in the building had attacked the victim and that the victim had been stabbed during the incident.
BCEHS transported the victim to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries
VicPD officers were able to locate the suspect, who was taken into custody, where he was held for court.
VicPD did not provide further details about the suspect or charges stemming from the incident.
