If you like searching for things and winning prizes, then Shawnigan Lake is the place to be on Canada Day.
The Shawnigan Lake Community Association (SLCA) has organized a Canada Day scavenger hunt that will take place from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on July 1.
The scavenger hunt will take participants to 12 different places throughout the Shawnigan Lake area.
Participants must download a “clue sheet” to search for 12 places, which will have the SLCA balloon logo displayed.
Those who participate can either search by foot, bike or car and can win prizes once they’ve submitted their results.

The event is supported by the Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada.
