

Sooke, Nanaimo-Ladysmith and Qualicum school districts all announced schools are open and buses running today.
After weather and power outages caused schools to close or send students home early Tuesday, it is back to normal Wednesday.
Sooke School District 62, which closed its schools for classes after heavy snowfall in the area, announced classes are back on.
The district does advise buses may be running late because of road conditions.

Qualicum School District 69 has announced all of its schools are open and buses are running, but asking parents to give extra time for buses to arrive because of road conditions.
District 69 closed Kwalikum Secondary School, Arrowview Elementary, Errington Elementary, L’Ecole Oceanside Elementary and Nanoose Bay Elementary because of power outages.
The district also sent students home early.
Schools are open and buses are running in the Nanaimo Ladysmith School District 68.
District officials are asking parents to drive carefully to school because of icy spots on area roads.
There was a power outage Tuesday at McGirr Elementary in north Nanaimo.
