Update: The RCMP have suspended the search in the Highlands but are still actively searching for 2 suspects.
Thetis Lake Park is closed as police search for two suspects in a Sooke double shooting
West Shore RCMP, the Emergency Response Team and officers with tracking dogs from Victoria and Saanich are looking for two men, who may be armed and dangerous.
The men, who fled from police earlier today on Lost Lake Rd, could now possibly be around Thetis Lake. People are asked to stay clear of the area.
The suspects are described as wearing dark clothing. One of them may be barefoot.

Highlands residents are asked to stay in their homes with their doors locked and immediately report any suspicious activity.
People with information who wish to remain anonymous may call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
It’s believed police are searching for the suspects involved in the double-shooting Tuesday night in Sooke.
One of those suspects, Joshua Nicholas Lafleur – is believed to be the trigger man in the shootings.
