The Masset RCMP has revealed that the family of a missing woman from Haida Gwaii is offering a significant cash reward to anyone that can provide information on her whereabouts.

The Masset RCMP has revealed that the family of a missing woman from Haida Gwaii is offering a significant cash reward to anyone that can provide information on her whereabouts.

Shaylanna Meaghan Lewis was reported missing on Saturday, March 21 2020 and there have been no reported sightings of her since. She was last seen near Pure Lake on Haida Gwaii.

The investigation into Lewis’s whereabouts remains active and ongoing but police say that investigators are no closer to finding out what happened to her at this time.

The woman, who was 23 years of age at the time of her disappearance, is described by police as an Indigenous female, standing at 5’7″ in height. She is 174 pounds and with brown eyes and brown hair.

According to Masset RCMP, Shaylanna’s family is offering a $25,000 reward to anyone who can provide information to help solve this investigation.

“Shaylanna is dearly missed, if you have any information please phone local RCMP or Crimestoppers. No matter how small it may be, it could be the missing piece of the puzzle that is needed to find Shaylanna,” said Monica Brown, Lewis’s mother.

Shaylanna’s family and the RCMP continue to be concerned for her well-being and are seeking the public’s help in efforts to locate her.
