RCMP in the Cowichan Valley are investigating an assault involving a group of youths and two men.
According to a North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP press release, an incident took place between a group of youths and two men occurred in the area of Beverly Street, near Chesterfield Avenue, at 2:30 a.m. on April 24.
RCMP say the incident involved some kind of altercation between the youths and the men, resulting in one man sustaining non-life-threatening injuries that required medical attention while the other man and one youth received minor injuries.
The individuals involved were not known to each other, say RCMP, who did not provide further details about the incident.
RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or recorded it or has any information to contact them at 250-748-5522.
