Halibut Island is six kilometres west of San Juan Island and about 10 kilometres east of Sidney, according to the listing on Colliers International.
The 9.67-acre island is in the Haro Strait, just off the eastern coastline of Sidney Island. It is described as having excellent low-bank accessibility and a soft-gravel beach.
Other features are a “unique ecosystem and abundant wildlife,” along with “great building sites and topography.”
