Police search for man who exposed himself to student at UVic

Oak Bay Police are investigating after a man in his 20s exposed himself to a student on the UVic campus early Wednesday.

A male was studying in the lab at the Engineering Building when at 1:40 a.m. another man walked in.

At one point he exposed his genitals to the student then tried to start a conversation.

The student told him to leave and he did without further incident.

 UVIC security was called along with Oak Bay Police, Saanich Police also attended to assist.

Investigators say extensive patrols were done but the suspect could not be found.

Its unknown if he’s also a student at the university.

He is described as 6 foot 4 inches tall and weighing 165 pounds.

He is possibly Latino in appearance with long, tightly curled hair

He was wearing a black ¾ length rain coat, black sweat pants, and running shoes.
