Overloaded truck jackknifes on Malahat causing major backup

Westshore RCMP responded to a jackknifed truck with a suspected overloaded trailer Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m. on the Malahat.

Southbound traffic was greatly impacted, resulting in traffic being backed up for around two kilometres.

Officials say no one was injured in the incident and clean up took place shortly after police arrived on scene.
