Over $1,500 worth of linens stolen from Quadra Island resort

A resort on Quadra Island has had over $1,500 worth of linens stolen, in what RCMP are calling a “linen heist.”

Quadra Island RCMP say on June 13, someone allegedly broke into the laundry room at Taku Resort and stole the linens, including rags, towels and bed sheets. Money from the cash register was also stolen.

Following the alleged theft, the resort has increased security and added more cameras.

RCMP is investigating, and ask anyone with information to contact the Quadra RCMP at 250-285-3631.
