One man has been arrested after methamphetamine, fentanyl, replica firearms, and cash were seized during a drug trafficking investigation in Victoria.

One man has been arrested after methamphetamine, fentanyl, replica firearms, and cash were seized during a drug trafficking investigation in Victoria.

Officers with VicPD’s Community Services Division (CSD) seized the items during an executed search warrant on Friday, January 8.

According to VicPD, CSD officers carried the search out on a suite located at a multi-unit temporary housing facility in the 3000-block of Blanshard Street.

Officers located and seized over one kilogram of methamphetamine, along with smaller amounts of fentanyl, two replica firearms, and over $1,000 in cash.

CSD officers arrested one man in relation to the investigation and will be recommending drug trafficking charges, says VicPD.

The file is still under investigation.
