As COVID-19 pandemic continues, the district said “things will look and feel different” but that they are following all the recommendations and guidelines set out by the province and Island Health.

Among the changes, the district said people will need to register first before attending programs are visiting facilities in order to “control the number of people in the pool and to identify all participants in aquatics programs.”

Visitors will also be screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering any facility or attending any program, physical distancing measures will be implemented, and those who are registered for swimming are asked to arrive early and limit the number of items they bring into the pool.
