Multiple vehicles broken into at condominium parking garage in View Royal, say police

RCMP say five vehicles parked in a condominium parking garage at 110 Presley Place in View Royal were broken into sometime in the evening hours of Sept. 19 and early morning hours of Sept. 20.

Nearly half-a-dozen vehicles parked in a View Royal condominium parking garage were broken into over the weekend.

According to West Shore RCMP, five vehicles parked in a condominium parking garage at 110 Presley Place in View Royal were broken into sometime in the evening hours of Sept. 19 and early morning hours of Sept. 20.

All of the vehicles had been rummaged through and valuables such as money and identification were taken while three vehicles had their passenger side window smashed.

“We receive daily reports of theft from vehicles, please take your personal belongings with you and do not leave them in the car,” Const. Nancy Saggar, West Shore RCMP media relations officer, said in a press release.

West Shore RCMP’s Forensic Identification Unit has examined the scene and the investigation remains ongoing.
