You’ve most likely heard of pumpkin spice lattes, but this fall the popular seasonal flavour is making the leap to Kraft Dinner.

You have read that correctly, the classic mac and cheese brand is stepping outside the box and adding hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger into the mix.

Kraft Dinners says that all of the added pumpkin spice ingredients will, of course, come alongside the KD cheese powder as well.

The iconic brand is even taking things one step further by including a signature white cup – something similar to how a Starbucks latte might be served.

“KD has always been known for its one of a kind cheesy taste and after years of watching Canadians get excited for pumpkin spice season, we felt that it was time to combine the two iconic flavours and create Pumpkin Spice KD,” said Brian Neumann, Senior Brand Manager, Brand Building & Innovation, Kraft Heinz Canada.

“Canadians have always made KD their own way and not many people would expect KD to be part of the PSL conversation, but that’s the whole point. Only 1000 will be made. So, move over lattes and muffins, PSKD is the must try new flavour this fall.”

The kicker is the pumpkin spice KD will be distributed through an online contest. Canadians who are feeling bold enough or curious enough can sign up and 1,000 lucky(?) individuals will be selected later this fall.

Now even the brand itself admits on the contest entry page that the majority of people probably never dreamed of this flavour blend, but that didn’t stop Kraft Dinner from “[making] it anyway.”

For those who receive the limited-edition flavour, their package will include the macaroni and cheese, a “Pumpkin Spice Boost Pack,” a fork, and a white coffee-style cup with your name written incorrectly for the full experience.
