A motorcycle rider got away with only a minor injury after his bike was sent crashing through the window of a Saanich business on Friday.
The crash occurred around 2:45 p.m. in the 3300-block of Tennyson Avenue.
Police at the scene told CHEK News that the motorcycle rider was heading south on Tennyson Avenue when a van driver heading north made a left turn onto Tennyson Place, cutting off the motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider hit the side of the van before jumping a curb and crashing into the window of Island Windows Coverings.

There was no one near the window when the crash occurred, and employees say no one inside was injured.
The motorcycle rider suffered a minor injury to his hand, according to police.
The driver of the van was arrested for what police say was a licensing issue.
