Missing 14-year-old in Duncan found safe

A missing 14-year-old who went missing in Duncan yesterday has been found safe.

Cowichan Search and Rescue said in an update early Thursday afternoon that the teenager is no longer missing after he was found in Lake Cowichan.

“Our missing young man has been located safe. Thank you all for being the eyes and ears,” Cowichan SAR wrote.

A search involving Cowichan SAR and RCMP was triggered when he was reported missing after was last seen near the Canada Post office on Ingram Street yesterday.
