A man reported missing after leaving his home in Malahat Mountain Meadows RV Park earlier this week has been found dead, according to RCMP.
Christopher Janak, 54, had been missing since the morning of Dec. 7. On Friday, RCMP confirmed his body had been found Dec. 9.
“Although a full determination has yet to be made, RCMP do not believe that criminality was involved in the man’s sudden death,” BC RCMP said in a statement.
The BC Coroners Service has been notified and is investigating the death.
