Comox Valley Mounties have arrested a 19-year-old man accused in a robbery that saw a women’s neck slashed last week.
The woman was approached by the man in the early hours of Friday, Nov. 19, in the 700-block of Anderton Road in Comox.
He produced what appeared to be a gun and demanded the woman hand over her valuables, which included her purse and car keys. At some point, the woman sustained a laceration to her neck.
After releasing a suspect description, RCMP said they arrested a man in connection with the robbery Tuesday morning.
The unidentified man will remain in custody until his next court appearance, according to RCMP.
