The same dog previously went missing back in May and was also found near the fire hall.

The pictures the fire department posted were from when the dog was at the fire hall in May. Sooke Fire Rescue Service wrote on Facebook that the dog has shorter hair than in the photo due to a recent haircut.

Sooke Fire Rescue also responded to a comment saying they should get the owner’s name and contact information this time. The department said they have also come to the same conclusion.
