The Royal BC Museum shares a collection of memorabilia from Queen Elizabeth’s many visits to the province.

Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September as the longest-serving monarch in British History.

Her reign was made more impressive because she wasn’t in line for the throne.

On Dec. 11, 1936, Elizabeth would become the ‘Heir Presumptive’ after her uncle gave up the crown.

From the Queen’s first visits to B.C. as a teen Princess to photographs done by Bryan Adams, the Royal BC Museum’s collection illustrates the Queen’s historic connection to our province.
