Traffic is moving along Johnson Street Bridge again after it was closed because of a water main break Monday morning.
Victoria police tweeted the bridge has reopened, but traffic is being redirected as Esquimalt Road remains closed west of Tyee Road.
An official with the city says the burst is under control.
Victoria police said just after 7 a.m. the burst happened at Tyee and Esquimalt Roads causing major traffic delays with water gushing onto the road.
Authorities said homes and businesses were affected, but water service is fine and there has been no property damage.
