A 47-year-old man wanted for attempting to murder his former girlfriend and her new partner in Victoria is now featured among the Interpol list of most wanted.

A Red Notice has been issued for Sebastien Normandin.

He was arrested in Dec. 2016 after a two-vehicle collision on Gillespie Place, near Government House.

Police believe Normandin intentionally drove his car at the couple, one of them suffered non-life threatening injuries.

VicPD said they discovered there was a long history of domestic violence between Normandin and his former girlfriend.

He faces a number of charges including attempted murder, assault causing bodily harm and criminal harassment.

In May 2017 he was freed on $5000 bail, but was not allowed to remain in Victoria.

Instead, a native of Quebec, he was told to return to Montreal, where he had lived in the past, and report to police there.

Five months later in late October, security camera footage captured him at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport boarding a flight for Britain.

He is now believed to be in France.

Normandin still appears to be active on social media with a Twitter account belonging to him used as recently as Jan. 30.
