Increasing cloud today over Vancouver Island – expect showers Sunday

The strong ridge of high pressure that has kept skies clear across most of Vancouver Island and BC’s south coast for the past few days is now breaking down.

That will allow a low pressure system off Washington state to slide northward, bringing increasing cloud Saturday across the Island, with showers expected overnight Saturday and through Sunday.

Temperatures will become much more seasonal with highs in the mid-teens, overnight lows from 7 to 11 degrees.
