

Drive B.C. says Highway 4 near Tofino is closed in both directions due to a collapse during culvert replacement.
UPDATE: Drive BC reports that one lane has been reopened to alternating traffic on Highway 4 near Tofino.

Highway 4 is closed in both directions at the north boundary of Pacific Rim National Park outside of Tofino due to a collapse during culvert replacement, Drive B.C. says.
Drive B.C. said there is debris on the road and an assessment is in progress. There is no detour available.

Highway 4 near the boundary was previously down to a single lane with alternating traffic due to the culvert replacement project. The project is expected to be finished in approximately one month.
