WATCH: With a packed house at Royal Athletic Park, the Victoria HarbourCats welcomed a team from Union De Reyes, Cuba to the diamond.
The Cuban team went on to win the game 8-4, but this game went far beyond the score. For the Cuban players, this was a very special opportunity to play in front of a large crowd at Wilson’s Group Stadium. There was also a live band playing Cuban music during the game, and the crowd rooted for both teams in a historic game, as this was the first time a WCL team has ever played a team from Cuba.
