WATCH: Coming off an 8-3 drumming of the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in game one on Friday night, it was the same song and dance on Saturday in game two, as the Grizzlies blanked the Bulldogs 5-0.
Grizzlies captain Alex Newhook opened the scoring midway through the second period with a laser top corner past Alberni Valley netminder John Hawthorne, which opened the flood gates for the Grizzlies, who simply out-skated the Bulldogs with their star-studded cast.
The Grizzlies lead the best-of-seven series 2-0 as the series now shifts to Alberni Valley for Game 3 on Tuesday night.
